The truth is, my life was a mess, I was never well rested, always on the go… my life felt chaotic. To sum it up, my life felt out of control and I had no idea where to start or how to get my life together.

I didn’t really do anything about it for a while because despite being stressful, it seemed to be the norm for everyone. Needless to say, I spent about a year in “survival” mode until one night I realized I desperately needed a change.

It took me a while to figure these things out. In some ways, they seem too simple, but I’ve learned that the things that work aren’t usually the complicated ones—it’s being consistent in the simple things.

Planning for anything will 100% reduce some of the stress of the situation. It’s the unknown that often causes frustration. If you know there’s an area that adds to the feeling of overwhelm, take the time to plan for it.
